"Oh my god, Jungkook," you held your hand over your mouth and heart at the same time, "how, what…I can't…" You couldn't contain your tears, it was more than you could have imagined, every detail was perfectly you…the couple. He looked down, an embarrassed expression on his face, mostly because he intended to show you alone…and now, you were certainly not alone. "Wow, Jungkookie," Jin slapped Jungkook's back as hard as possible, par for their course, "I guess you have been preparing for my baby sister's arrival." "Jin, stop," you shook your head, still mostly in shock at what you saw in front of you. "It's ok, baby," Jungkook wrapped you in a back hug and quieted your insistence on protecting him, whispering, "I'm a big boy."
You giggled, turning around to kiss him, "yes, you are." "Literally, right here, I can hear everything you're saying," Jin shook his head as he walked further around the apartment to really take it in and back to your parents. "Ok, I feel like we've got a pretty good case here, sis," Jin affirmed, finding that it was truly ok to 'leave' you with Jungkook, “let’s go tell them.”
--
“What’s happening?” Your mom was instantly and rightfully suspicious of you and Jin, “what is that look, Seokjin?” Your eyes widened, looking at your brother, whose mouth dropped open for a moment instantly feeling like he was in trouble, “mom, oh my gosh, why are you saying that to me?” Your dad was distracted, he was there, but it seemed he had not been there since receiving the news about Jungkook’s dad. “Nothing’s happening, mom,” you interjected, feeling like you needed to rip the bandaid off, “I’m just not coming home right now. I’m gonna stay here with Jungkook for a while, ok?” Your mom’s eyes widened and she instantly started crying, which pulled your dad into the conversation, “what’s wrong, what happened?”
“Nothing, dad,” you started, but Jin entered the conversation, feeling the need to take the reins. “Alright, alright, let’s relax,” he stood up and took charge. “Our little one here has grown up and she is going to stay here in Korea. She’s getting started now, mother and father. This is what she’s prepared for and she is going to be well taken care of with Jungkook.” “With Jungkook? What?” Your dad finally got what was happening and he left his thoughts for a while to address the changing circumstances, “your back with Jungkook? When did that happen? You’re going to stay, really? When will you be back? How will you take care of yourself? Do you have a job? Are you using your degree now?”
Your dad entered the chat with vigor, as if he’d woken up from a two-year coma. “Ok, well to answer your questions…Yes, I’m back with Jungkook. We never really broke up by the way, but as soon as we saw each other again it was as if we’d never been apart. I’m going to stay with him. He has this really great apartment, which he’d already been getting ready for when I’d be back. And I’ll be back in a while to get my stuff and really move, but I’m not exactly sure when that would be. I already quit my assistant job and I have savings for the things that Jungkook will allow me to help with,” you giggled thinking about your beautiful, sweet boyfriend, who was probably dying standing behind the door, “...and I’m going to start applying for places in business once things settle down here. So, I will finally be using the degree you paid for, father.”
“But, sweetheart,” your mom sniffled, “I’m gonna miss you too much. You can’t stay here. Why can’t he move with you?” “Because this is our home,” you held firm, your heart breaking hearing the sadness and hurt in her words, “I’ve always wanted to come back here, but I didn’t know when. And now, I know, it’s right now. Jungkook is everything to me and we want to build our life here.” “Build your life?” Your dad asked, shaking his head, “what are you talking about? Has he proposed? He certainly hasn’t talked to me about it.” “Dad,” you shook your head, seeing him soften, you walked over and hugged him, “no, he hasn’t proposed, but my life was meant to be connected to his…here. You get that, right?” “Of course I do,” your dad kissed the top of your head, “there is no way I would allow any of this to be happening if it wasn’t for that very notion. He is a Jeon, which means that he is admirable, respectful, and loyal. You have my blessing, reluctantly because I too will miss you so much, but I trust you and I trust your chosen man.” “Thank you, dad,” you celebrated, hugging him, then turning to your mom who seemed to be in a constant stream of tears.
Jin hugged her, reminding, “don’t worry mom, I’m still going to be home. And since I’m your favorite, we’ll have more time to spend together. Especially, since I’m not abandoning the family.” Before he could finish he was already bursting out in laughter. His recognizable windshield wiper laugh was abundant and your mom and dad couldn’t help but to laugh along with you and Jin. “She’ll be fine, father,” Jin assured, “I checked out the place and it’s suitable for our little one.” “Stop calling me that,” you pushed Jin, and shook your head, slowly moving over to your mom. “Mom, are you ok?” You asked, placing your hand on her shoulder. “Where is he?” She asked, and all of you, including your dad, paused to take notice of what she was asking. “Who? Jungkook?” You asked. “Yes, where is he?” She asked, standing up, adjusting her outfit and cleaning the makeup from her face. “Ahhh, he’s outside the door,” you stated nervously.
You knew that they would be saddened, but you were certain that they wouldn’t have a problem, since it was Jungkook and they knew him. However, your mom seemed like she was on a mission to end all the celebrations, “let him in here.” “Ok,” you looked at Jin with a confused expression as you passed by him to open the door for Jungkook. Jin shrugged slightly, also unsure of what was happening. When you opened the door, Jungkook turned quickly to face you, seeing the worry in your face he was also instantly worried, whispering to you, “what happened, Sweets? Are you ok? Are they pissed?” “My mom wants to talk to you,” you whispered back and shrugged, unable to offer him any understanding. He shook his head, connected his hand to yours, and walked toward your mom, comforting you, “it’s gonna be ok, baby.”
“Yes, ma’am,” he bowed, before your mom gave him a tight hug and started laughing. You and Jin looked at each other in complete shock, clearly both stating with your facial expressions, ‘what the fuck?’ “Our children think they are so much smarter than us, don’t they, honey,” she turned to your dad who was hiding a giggle. “They do and I have to tell you, Jungkook,” your dad feigned frustration, “they honestly didn’t think that you would have already talked to us. I can’t believe that they have such little faith in you. Are you sure you want my daughter to stay here with you?”
Your eyes bulged, but not bigger than Jin’s, who could no longer deal, “wait! What? You little punk, why didn’t you tell me?" Jungkook shrugged, chuckling, “I’m sorry hyung. I was going to, but your parents swore me to secrecy. I’m so sorry, Sweets.” “Baaaabe,” you placed your hands on your hips, completely floored, “how dare you. You could've told me and we could have left Jin in the dark.” Jin’s mouth stretched open and he shook his head furiously, “are you kidding me? You were begging me to get them on your side, you traitor.” All at once all of you were laughing and you breathed a sigh of relief, thinking, ‘of course he talked with them, of course he showed them respect, of course…he was perfect’.
--
“Jungkook, are you ok, sweetie?” your mom held her hand across the table from your very nervous boyfriend. He had secretly invited your parents to breakfast, before you and Jin visited his apartment. "Yes, ma'am, I am. To be honest, I'm just a little nervous," he admitted, a cute grin appearing on his face. Your mom chuckled, "Jungkook, dear, we may have moved away, but we were very much a part of you growing up." "There's no need to be nervous, son, your father and I had many conversations about this moment," your father reassured, placing his hand on Jungkook's shoulder, before squeezing gently, affirming that everything was ok.
Hearing your father's words, caught Jungkook by surprise and he instantly began to tear up, "what do you mean? You talked about us?" "Of course we did, sweetie," your mom chuckled, placing her hand on your fathers arm, "your parents have always been our very best friends. Of course we talked about how much we loved that you and her finally started to date. We'd had our fingers crossed for sure." "Yes, the timing was unfortunate, but the four of us knew that eventually we'd be here. And I'm actually so grateful, especially now, because I know exactly what your father thought and remember all the words he said," your dad got choked up, which caused your mom to begin crying and then Jungkook couldn't hold back.
They took a few moments to give space to the present, switching to the mundane for a moment, ordering and exchanging niceties with the wait staff. "So, Jungkook," your father started, "it seems that we've taken a bit of wind from your sails." They all chuckled and Jungkook shrugged cutely, "I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I'm so grateful to hear that you talked about it. I told her that the only thing I wished would have been different is for him to have seen us back together." They all paused for a moment, nodding, and he continued, "your daughter is the most important person to ever exist in my life. I'm completely in love with her, I think I've always been, even before we were together. I just want you to know that there will never be a time when I won't take care of her, love her, protect her, support her, treat her like the precious gem she is. I have been hoping all these years that she would want to come back here, to be with me, and build a life with me here. I'm happy to say that she wants that too. But, I believe it's important to first get your blessing for us to move forward in this way."
Jungkook stopped talking and drew in a quick breath of air, momentarily feeling light headed, realizing he'd been holding his breath. "Jungkook, sweetie," your mom got up pulling him up out of his chair, kissed his cheek and hugged him, continuing, "nothing would make me happier." "Thank you so much," he smiled, finally feeling some relief, "I will never ever hurt her, I promise you that." "Oh Jungkook, we know. We're not at all worried about that, right, honey," your mom looked at your dad. He smiled before standing up and pulled Jungkook into a tight embrace, one that allowed Jungkook to really feel the presence of his own father, "he was so proud of you, Jungkook. So very proud." Jungkook fell into your father's embrace, allowing the emotion he was feeling to finally bubble over. Your father didn't rush him, he just took him under his care, like he'd always promised his father.
--
"When are these kids finally going to figure this out for themselves?" Mr. Jeon chuckled during their weekly check in. "I've asked my son to ask her what her plan is. She's just wasting time, I'm not sure why," your father was stumped. "Well, Jungkook says that he doesn't want to pressure her so he's not calling. He says that she feels guilty about something. Not sure. I've nudged him a bit, even had Namjoon get involved, but they seem to stay in this fixed position," Mr. Jeon laughed, "they need to speed it up a bit, so we can get to our grandbabies." Your father burst out into laughter, "that is what my wife is always talking about. She doesn't care if our daughter is ready, only that she is ready to be a grandmother." They both laughed, finding the predicament frustratingly adorable.
"Well, I suppose we will have to keep waiting. I wish they would just realize that they are both doing the same thing," Mr. Jeon added. "Yes, the wait continues," your dad affirmed and they both laughed again. "Next week?" Mr. Jeon always ended the call the same way. "Until then," your dad would add and their check in, mostly spent talking about their children figuring shit out, would end.
--
Jungkook finally felt like the cloud of not knowing lifted and he was able to feel relief that his dad knew. He didn't realize how much he needed to hear that, but now, his heart felt lighter, "thank you, Sir. I do appreciate you telling me that. It means so much to me, it honestly does." Jungkook bowed respectfully and listened to your dad talk about his friendship with his father. As they laughed and reminisced, Jungkook realized that your father needed this moment too.
"I'm so sorry that he can't tell you this, himself, but he was so proud of how you kept focused on the future. How you continued to do what you felt was best for you, no matter how much he tried to push you to follow his path. He was so proud that you'd gone to art school and he loved to walk around and see all of the installations you'd been commissioned to do. He would stop anyone who walked past and tell them that it was his son's work. He knew that you felt like you'd disappointed him, but he was not at all disappointed. He was grateful that you had the confidence to be yourself and that you stayed so committed to the future you'd imagined…especially as it pertained to our daughter," your father leaned over and squeezed his arm in affirmation. Jungkook bowed again and thanked him profusely for sharing all of this with him. The sadness that had been hovering above them, seemed to fade into hope and the promise of a beautiful future.
The food arrived and they continued to tell stories and memories of Mr. Jeon. Soon laughter and happiness were the most prominent feelings at the table. "When have they decided to 'break it to us'," your father chuckled, imagining what you and Jin had been plotting…knowing the two of you better than you thought he knew. "What do you mean?" Jungkook acted as though he'd not been there as you begged Jin to do the heart breaking. "Jungkook, sweetie, we know our 'thick as thieves' children," your mother shook her head with a huge smile on her face, in true adoration of you and Jin, "I bet that our daughter called our son and spent only a few minutes begging him to be the one to 'break it to us'." Your dad took a sip of his coffee, before he added through chuckles, "I know that's true, love. 'Please brother, please tell them Jinnie, they like you better.'"
Jungkook did not want to sell you and Jin out, but the uncanny impressions that your parents were pulling off…there was no way he couldn't laugh. "I told you," your mother shook her head with a smile on her face, "those little brats." Jungkook continued to chuckle, adding, "she can get him to do anything. He adores her. I know the feeling." "Yes," your father added, "we all do. And she has all of us wrapped around her finger, she just doesn't actually know it." They all laughed and continued breakfast, before Jungkook met you and Jin to drive to his apartment.
--
"Wait, so everything is really ok?" The realization, finally hitting you, instantly allowing you to relax. "Yes, it is," your dad pulled you into an embrace, "I'm so proud of you and Jungkook. We're so happy for both of you." "Yes, sweetheart," your mom cut in, "we've talked a lot about you and Jungkook with his parents. We've all hoped and prayed we'd get to this moment…but it just took a bit for the two of you to get here." "No, this is actually not ok," Jin interjected, still in complete shock that they'd pulled the wool over his eyes, "how dare you betray me like that…both of you."
All of you laughed and you walked over to Jin, squeezing him tightly, "it's ok, brother. The point is that everything worked out, right?" "No, that's not the point," Jin shook his head, before he smiled. "There he is," you smiled, your tone teasing. "I will not forget this," he emphasized, "one day, you'll need me again and I will remind you both of this moment. One day. Mark my words." You giggled and kissed Jin's cheek, "I know you'll always be there for me, brother. Don't worry, I won't forget." A happy chuckle passed through everyone and Jungkook thought back to what your dad said at breakfast. 'She's got us all wrapped around her finger,' as he melted at the huge smile on your face. He finally felt the relief and warmth that came with knowing that you were truly his and he was truly yours.
--
"Call me as soon as you land," you had not released Jin from your embrace, "I'm serious. No matter what, we're going to stay as close as we've always been, ok. Promise me, big brother." He tried not to let you see his tears, but he couldn't help it, so he allowed them, but only with continued teasing, "yeah, yeah, yeah." "I'm serious," you pouted, "promise me." "Fine, fine, geez relax," he teased, then pulled you into his hug, "I promise. Be happy sister. Enjoy your life…you deserve to be stupidly happy. I love you and I'm so proud of you." His words triggered your sobbing and you held onto him tightly for just a few moments longer, "thank you, Jin. I love you and I'm so grateful that I won the big brother lottery, because you're the best brother ever."
"Ok, ok, stop," he shook his head, wiping his tears, "I'll see you in a couple of weeks, when you travel back to pick up your wardrobe. I know you're not going to keep on wearing the few outfits you brought and Jungkook's endless assortment of blacks and grays will lose their luster." You chuckled, punching his arm, before returning to cuddling against Jungkook. You waved as Jin helped to corral your parents into actually leaving you.
"Are you ok, Sweets?" Jungkook looked down at your face, cheeks still stained with tears. "Yes, for the first time in a long time I feel like I'm exactly where I should be and I know exactly what I want," you looked up at him, smiling as he lowered his lips to yours. "I love you so much, baby," he cooed, kissing you again. "I love you too, babe," you squeezed your arms around him, "let's go home."
--
Home, with Jungkook, was the only place you ever needed to be and as you watched him set dinner up in front of the fireplace, you understood that no matter how long it would’ve taken, you would always have ended up in this moment. "You're incredible, baby," you looked at him in awe, the way he loved you was abundant and whole. "Awww, that's sweet, you are too, Sweets," he giggled, as he continued to romance you. He'd been planning these moments with you for so long that he was giddy as he saw them come to fruition. "I still don't understand how you could have possibly known," you stood up from the couch, wrapping your arms around him, as he lit the candles on the table. You snuggled against his back and melted hearing his adorable giggles, "because you thought about it so much…"
"Yes, but how? How are we this connected? Do you ever think about that, babe? I mean, it's incredible, yes. But…how?" You'd been thinking more and more about how it was possible that you both could have been thinking the same things, going on through your separate lives, but…never alone, always together. Especially, when he started to give you a more in depth tour of your new shared apartment.
"Where did you get this?" You asked, holding up a tiny elephant figurine that he'd placed on the nightstand on your side of the bed. "I made it," he chuckled, wondering how often you'd be saying that, wondering if all the thoughts he had were actually yours. "What do you mean? Had you seen a picture or something?" You were, to be honest, a bit freaked out when you picked it up. "I had a dream that you’d bought it for me. And the picture of it just kind of stayed put in my mind. I actually drew it first, see," he opened the walk-in closet, which was enormous and took your breath away on its own, but especially when he pointed to the framed picture of the drawing he'd made. "I can't believe this, Jungkook," you held your head in your hands, shaking it, still in disbelief, "there's just no way you could have known about this. I never told anyone about it."
He shrugged and continued, smiling, "but…the little guy kept coming into my thoughts, my dreams, asleep or awake, something told me that the drawing wasn't enough. So I started to mold it from my memory. Once I finished it and set it there, it's like it slipped from my conscience. Why? Do you recognize it?" "Do I recognize it?" you shook your head, walked back over to the bed and scrolled through your phone, "look, this is on my nightstand at home. I did buy it for you." His eyes widened and he started to chuckle, "I'm not even a little bit surprised. That's us, Sweets!" "But, that's bananas," you threw your hands up, unable to process, "how could you know exactly what it looked like?" He pulled you up from the bed and wrapped his arms around you, "our connection is special. That's all I got." You giggled, kissing him, pressing your cheek against his chest.
"Ok, so you did buy it for me," he laughed, "was there a particular reason?" "Well, actually, yes," you laughed a bit thinking back to the moment, "I was actually on a road trip with some friends and we stopped in this small town. We were walking through this tiny place and we went into this candy shop, called 'Babe Sweets'." You stopped to catch his reaction, which was exactly what you thought it would be, his mouth wide open and his eyes just as wide, "no fucking way." "Yup," you smiled, nodding, "I was like what are the chances. Then I saw this little collection of tchotchkes, which is where I found this little guy. Behind it was this card that went with it that said, 'remembering, loyally'. It caught my attention so, I picked it up and it had this little explanation of how elephants are so loyal to their family and they would do anything for them and that they have the most incredible memories. Anyhow, you were always on my mind, but this spoke to me. It was like a reminder of our loyalty to each other and how it would be impossible to forget you, and I hoped the same was true for you about me. So, I got it to give to you when we finally saw each other again, where I could show you that you were truly with me all the time. I wrote a letter to you about it, mostly all of my letters to you were to document something I wanted to tell you, when we were together again. I have so many things to tell you."
He pulled you into his embrace, kissed you and chuckled, "that's something else we've done separately but together…let me show you my memories of us." He walked you through the apartment, showing you the little things and the big things that your parallel existences shared. You were both blown away by how closely you were tied. "As much as it pains me, I don't think that I would have been who I am without the time we've spent apart," you admitted, "it's so comforting knowing that your life didn't just stop and you weren't waiting on me. That's what I've been most worried about. But we've just been becoming us, separate, but together. Now, I'm actually ready to be here. I wouldn't have been back then." Jungkook smiled, kissing you, "exactly…and we were never away from each other. All of this was just part of our love story." You drew in a long breath and with it entered calm and peace, settling within you. You finally allowed your guilt to fade away.
"I love you, Sweets," he kissed you again, before connecting his hands with yours, bringing it up to his lips, kissing it tenderly. You smiled, your face warm, his sweet gestures still made you blush, "I love you, Babe." He tucked your arm within his and you walked with a trail of hearts seemingly following behind you. When you entered your bedroom, he guided you back onto the bed, holding your face between his hands as he kissed you. You pulled his shirt up and off of him, leaning forward slightly, placing sweet kisses against his chest. He allowed his head to roll back, taking in the feel of your lips against his body. A small moan slipped between his lips as you pulled down his pants and took hold of his hardening length. You started to stroke him and he held onto the bottom of your chin, pulling your face up to connect his gaze to yours. "Mmmm," he moaned, "that feels so good, baby." You smiled, before shifting off of the bed, and onto your knees.
He took in a deep breath as you drew his dick into your mouth, licking it as you moved up and down his shaft. As his moans grew louder, he gripped onto your hair as his dick twitched within your hold, and your tongue rolled around him. His grip on your hair started to tighten as you took him deeper and he held your head onto his length for longer. Your eyes started to sting and you took in short gasps of air in between his pulling you on and off of him. You could feel his body start to tighten and the guttural growl that released indicated he was just about to bust. As expected, his cum started to squirt, shooting down your throat while you swallowed each load. He released your hair and he pulled you up from your knees, into his arms and kissed you deeply, before praising, "that is the most amazing feeling, baby. Damn, you do it so fucking good." You giggled and nodded, "I'm glad that it is to your liking." He chuckled and lifted you up slightly to put you back on the bed, "mmm, I'm so looking forward to my turn."
You bit down on your lower lip as you watched his eyes darken with lust, while pulling your pants off. He held onto your legs and kissed along the inside of both of them. He pushed his head between your legs and placed a kiss against your panties, pushing his kiss harder against the wet fabric as he listened to your moans. You rolled your hips up toward him and he got the message, quickly pulling your panties off, before dipping his tongue into your pussy. "Mmmm," he moaned against your slit, "you taste so good baby." You moaned as he returned to your folds, running his tongue through them, tasting you everywhere before he focused on your clit. Your body immediately responded, lifting up to meet the pleasure he was building from deep within you. "Oh god, Jungkook," your breathy voice matched the breathlessness that was taking over you. He sucked on your bud a few more times and the waves of your orgasm rushed over you. You gripped onto his long hair, as your body shook and shifted, taking hold of every ounce of pleasure.
As you worked to gain back regular breathing, you watched him climb on top of the bed, and you slowly scooted up to lay next to him. As soon as you were settled, he began to kiss you passionately, before he shifted his body on top of you and between your legs. His tongue explored your curves, lingering around your nipples, before pushing his length into you. You moaned as his size stretched you open, both of you adjusting to just the right fit. Once there, he increased the pace of his thrusting, holding your wrists down over your head with one of his large hands. He kissed you, as he rocked into you, and you lifted your legs to wrap around his waist. Your bodies melted together, each of you finding your release, and allowing the unmatched satisfaction to blanket the two of you.
He released your wrists, moving his hands to cupping your face, whispering, "I love you so much. Thank you for trusting in us, Sweets." You smiled, wiping the tear that escaped from his hold, as it slid onto his cheek, responding, "thank you for trusting that I would, Babe." He kissed you, then pulled out from inside of you, dropping down next to you. He pulled your back against his chest, wrapping his arms around you tightly, as he placed loving pecks against your neck. You took a deep breath, closing your eyes, grateful for the moment…for him, for understanding, for love. You'd never felt so exhilarated and complete before, as you took comfort in knowing that right here, right now, with Jungkook in this moment…was truly where you would both begin.
the end
You giggled, turning around to kiss him, "yes, you are." "Literally, right here, I can hear everything you're saying," Jin shook his head as he walked further around the apartment to really take it in and back to your parents. "Ok, I feel like we've got a pretty good case here, sis," Jin affirmed, finding that it was truly ok to 'leave' you with Jungkook, “let’s go tell them.”
